Many arrive from search after running into a suspicious message, a breach notice or a locked account, and they're looking for clear next steps. Our editorial focus includes South Carolina's Grand Strand as well as English-speaking readers in the U.S., Canada, the UK and Australia.

We don't publish audience numbers we can't back up. Ask us for current figures and we'll share what our analytics actually show.

Editorial independence

Advertisers don't choose our topics, review articles before publication, or change our security advice. A sponsor can't buy a recommendation or a guarantee that their product makes anyone completely safe.

We also turn down advertising for spyware, covert surveillance or stalkerware tools, hacking-for-hire services, fake antivirus, and anything that relies on fear to sell. Security products are welcome if they're honest about what they do.
